Synopsis of the Story
The Soaring Dragon Continent is a world of summons, you can only become strong if you become a summoner! Yue Yang, an average high school boy, was suddenly transported into this world. When he woke up, he was greeted with a lot of worried faces and found out that he had assumed another person’s identity. Turns out he’s the good-for-nothing third son of the Yue Family, who had just recently drowned himself because of a failed engagement.Unlike the third son of the Yue Family who was useless in summoning, Yue Yang succeeded in making a contract with a summoning grimoire on his first try, even when the other guy failed for the past fifteen years.Others would have a headache making contracts with beasts afterwards, but countless beasts tried to gain favour with Yue Yang instead, acting like a good kid before him.
Yue Yang the brat, however, didn’t feel grateful at all: “Scram, Mythical Beasts! Do you think you are cool like that? Go away from me now, I like only beautiful summons!”
Even when royal families approached him for his talents, the shameless brat replied, “I’m not interested in government stuff, I’m only interested in beauties!”

Long Live Summons reviews. This reviews might contain spoilers. I will remind you that the best review is the review that you wrote after reading this series!Review by bloggbig
I like this because it's a bit of a different perspective, and is mostly fun- but I do agree there's a lot to dislike to be honest. My main issue right off was with the MC, but he mostly settles down to an 'only occasionally excessively unreasonable' version (of a 'kindhearted' jerk) eventually.
The good:
The bad:
- Frequently humorous
- Reasonably good attention to character development. Some slightly interesting characters (that aren't the MC).
- Has a plot (interesting though nothing exceptional)
- Has some interesting ideas on summoning, and (very indirectly) the nature of agency/free will.
- MC is pretty much 20#% a jerk with plot armor and luck not to be believed- oh, and he's OP. Very 'Gary Stu adventure'.
- Tons of repetitive 'descriptions' which are really bragging opportunities.

The novel is entertaining, has a lot of potentials and a wonderful plot. My advice is stack up the chapters. Most of the time it is frustrating due to lack of chapters available to read.
MC is arrogant as well as a huge pervert. Will try to sexually harass (and if possible rape) any female characters available to him, including his pets( monsters)
For every chapter there will surely be a funny situation that will make the readers laugh. Fights in the novel are all well written and has continuity, that is really a wonderful thing because in most of the other novels you won't understand what is going on during that time and all you will get is POW-SMACK-KABOOM and END of the fight.
Harem novel- for some people that is a huge NO. I like harem and I find that all characters including heroines in here have a nice story and is given enough time to build their characters with personality

It can swing to extremes between bloody revenge and lewd humor. The MC is ruthless, and yet a pervert. The title seems to focus on summons, and yet the MC himself has nearly unrivaled strength in combat. All in all, you have a contradictory setting.
I’ll admit, the very first paragraph which had a quote from Stephen Chow’s movie “Pandora’s Box” (a parody of Journey to the West) immediately hooked me.
But how does it read? The bloody scenes are well written, and you can understand the MC’s decision making even if you don’t agree the extent he is taking matters. The lewd scenes are handled with humor, never going too far but doing the things many men wish they could do with impunity: touching and feeling and not caring about the consequences, only to laugh and joke in a roguish manner to infuriate and attract the victim.
It is the humor that sustains the series, much more than Heavenly Jewel Change which is similar in style and substance. This is not something you recommend to those who dislike lewd humor.
At the point of this review the story seems to have lost its way somewhat, a jumbled mess of plots: an academy setting, tests, battles, kidnapping of his family, flying from one fight to another with barely a rest.
Some characters and mysteries have not been referred to in a long while (long time readers: hands up if you remember the Heavenly Sword Goddess).
But at all times the MC remain true to his perverted self.
There are many mysteries being thrown about, too much in fact, and there isn’t a main end-goal in sight for the MC.
But I will continue to read to find out

It started out with a pretty good beginning. The premise of it was awesome; summoning grimoires and being able to capture cool monsters. But then…that nasty pervert personality is just too much. I can stand some perversion from male leads, but this character is just horrible because he has such a bad personality. I crown him, “The Worst and Dumbest Pervert Ever”.
Dude, at least hide ur intentions and be smart about it. But no, he just had to think with his dick all the time. Oh, this female is pretty>save her and touch her. Oh, pretty big sister here with huge boobs>touch and grope her. Wows, what a great guy, please just cut his dick off and make him a eunuch. Plus, the females are crazy, they’re all his little ho’s; all have the same personalities and they're tsunderes. Author, this is a big no no, don’t make all the girls so similar; don’t add so many girls to the point that you can’t even make up a personality for them, please, just kill them off! No more dumb females please! And the way the females think he’s handsome…I can see from the cover that he’s just normal; no description of his features or maybe there was but I can not remember it.
And whoever summoned him should have done some fucking research on his personality. Why the heck would you summon a nasty, dumbass, perverted, *bleerghhh* barf-worthy idiotic, gross...not enough words to describe this friggin jacked up idiotic donkey licking asshole! Just..why, Why, WHY??!!! Why couldn't you have summoned some worthy leading male character?! I'm not asking for a Prince on a white horse! I just want to read about a main character that doesn't have to be a pervert-with-a-harem, just someone with morals and be able to make his own judgement.
There are just so many questions left unanswered by the author. Too much of his pervertedness and his lies..Blegh, who can't see through his lies?! Even a blind monkey can tell that he is a dunderhead who is a perverted liar!
I’m not reading this anymore until it’s done. The plot is just going downhill and it’s getting boring. I’m going straight to the raws to see if he gets to travel back to his own world or not. (Still can’t get over how badly written this main male character is; nasty pervert! Die!)

Embrace yourself on the road of Chinese memes, harem and shrewd MC to become a god.
- That's mostly explains plot overall.
The novel has a whooping in numbers harem. Pokemon-style summons system. Great conspiracy. Crispy ero-scenes. Humor and memes (brace yourselves - its Chinese memes). Background - lots of it. Levels-like dimensional world. Adventuring. A bit of struggling. A bit of manage-busin. Author satirizing himself, novel and other pieces out there.
One of the most satisfying harems you'll ever read with damsels so strong, they'll punch you into oblivion. Gets from jokes to seriousness later on, and gets deep and dramatic in places around nearing 1k chapters. Breathtaking development on the road of oppness.
"Catch 'em all" (beautiful women and summons alike). Worth every chapter you'll read. Hardcore vanilla. Why are you still reading this, go get your fix already!

This has to be hands down my favorite web novel. I am sorry to say but any review below 4 is people taking themselves to seriously. The book doesn't and even pokes fun at itself. Maybe it isn't a book that tries to find the mysteries of the universe, but for a fun read that lets you just enjoy it. I can't find a lot that equals this books. If you are looking for the dense MC this isn't for you the main character is a perv and he has a silver tongue to get his way out of and into trouble. I love this book.

The start was pretty good like most of the novels, but the plots kept on repeating. MC stays OP all the time and gets one girl after another, and those girls don't really mind being in MC's harem. Even his sister and cousin develops weird feelings, and with how it is going, I doubt they will be willing to leave him and vice-versa.
MC keeps on getting OP powers, which is good and all, but when it keeps on happening so often as in this novel, it seems really overdone. The story of the novel revolves just around battles, getting treasures and increasing his harem. Outside of battles, there really isn't any story to it (IMO).
Lastly, don't decide based on just my review, it is better for you to read the novel and decide yourself. The translation updates are regular and it has over 300 chaps released, so maybe you will enjoy it
